One of Gilbert & Sullivan’s more famous shows, with songs including “A Policeman’s lot is not an ‘appy one” & the Major General’s patter song, The Pirates of Penzance tells the tale of pirates who mean well and, in particular, one born on 29-February who meets Mabel, one of the Major General’s daughters.
